Karma

     The Law of karma, referring to volitional actions in a moral sense, arises from a throrough understanding of the twelve-linked chain. Just as science has demonstrated the law of cause and in effect in the physical world, the Buddha understood that all in life in the universe was subject to moral causality. If a person performs an action with a secret but malign intention it will have consequences of a far-reaching nature that will affect the person’s happiness and the happiness of others in the future.

This law of causality affects people because the nature of human action that feeds into the interconnected system. How are we to act once we understand that everything we do has an effect on everything else?
